Open Elective Allocation Portal

From 2021 through 2026, this application supported open elective course allocation at MIT Academy of Engineering, Alandi (D), Pune.

The institute is autonomous and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Students signed in with their official college email; the system collected ranked preferences and ran fair, transparent seat allocation.

2021–2026 In active use across those academic cycles. Thank you to every student and staff member who relied on it.

This page is an archive notice only. Logins and live allocations are no longer available here.

The legacy portal is no longer hosted for live use. It previously offered separate student and admin experiences, phase-based access during each cycle, and allocation driven by academic rules (including merit ordering). For new elective allocation cycles, use the replacement platform from the same team, linked below.

Thank you for trusting this portal through every admission year.

What the portal covered

The system was purpose-built for MITAOE’s open elective workflow: verified accounts, a console for academic staff, and automated matching of student preferences to course capacity — so allocation did not depend on ad-hoc spreadsheets.

Students

  • Institute email verification and secure access
  • Clear path from instructions to ranked preference submission
  • Waiting and results phases during each cycle

Academic staff

  • Course catalog, seat limits, and intake configuration
  • Roster checks against eligible student records
  • Allocation runs and outcomes suitable for audit and communication
